Well, I don't have a popular blog like you or Gilligan but like you, I sit in front of a computer all day, and more & more I feel the need for "away time". (By the way, I know you're fond of your guitar playing & knitting, those are excellent "organic" hobbies!)

As for Whitney...yes, I agree with you. Ir really is an awful waste--what a very sad shame. Well Pam, I sure hope is all well with you & it's good to hear from you. :)ApacheDughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05520433539816634566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6266414848798382290.post-42769403216660811992012-02-22T16:32:22.490-05:002012-02-22T16:32:22.490-05:00Doug, I totally understand because I haven't b...Doug, I totally understand because I haven't been writing as much, either. Because of my day job and volunteer social media job I'm on the computer all day and then for a short time some nights and weekends...not to mention my Meetup group requires me to check my email, etc. Needless to say I've reached a few days where I'm just burned out beyond belief by technology and that's when I have to take a day off away from it, and get back to more "organic" hobbies like reading, knitting and practicing the guitar.

Also that Gilligan kills me with all of the fabulous vintage photos that he manages to find and scan for his blog...I'm thinking I'm going to have to do some rummaging at flea markets for some of that cool stuff myself!

It's a shame about Whitney--hers was the first real concert I ever attended. But after a certain point it's hard for me to feel sorry for people who take drugs, especially when they have everything at their feet.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18122952408610512684noreply@blogger.com
