Yesterday I was looking at my blog, and feeling kind of bored with it and decided it was time for a change. Not a drastic one, but the old banner had been in use over 10 years (and that selfie was from 2013) so I thought I'd freshen things up.
I snuck the new banner online yesterday, and my Canadian friend Robin noticed and left a positive comment and made my day. So a couple hours later, I sent it to my friend Gary and asked if he liked it, and he replied "Did you change something? It doesn't look any different to me."
I figured others would probably say the same, so I thought I'd share both here. Do you like the newer one? I do, but may change it again, who knows...
Anyway, thanks for looking & listening (as always), and as long as I'm sharing, here's today's Early Bird Dinner. Tomatoes with olive oil and parmesan cheese, roasted red pepper broccoli and angel hair pasta in a creamy garlic sauce with Italian herbs and turkey meatballs.
I don't know how it tastes yet, I just took this photo and am ready to dig in! 😊

The banner is fine. I assume that city-scape is Pittsburgh, not some random city that caught your eye.
ReplyDeleteI changed my photo once during my (about 12 year) tenure. I look at the more recent one and realise it’s from 15 years ago.
Your dinner looks fine, but I’d have omitted the red peppers (I don’t like them); maybe some garlic instead. Also the meatballs. They’re not something we have with pasta around these parts.
Thank you Peter, and yes that is the Pittsburgh skyline. I worked in that tall black building on the far left until my retirement! As for pasta without meatballs, I do too... on very rare occasion 😊
