Older men who live alone and don't exactly cook like Thanksgiving dinner too

Before...

Ready to eat; I was almost surprised how tasty everything was

This turned out better than expected, I really enjoyed that turkey & stuffing.  I was going to watch tv while eating, but there were big swirls of snow flurries outside my dining room window, so I enjoyed that instead.

Later on with my dessert (I'm not a fan of pumpkin pie)  I did enjoy an awesome movie--the 1993 tv movie A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion on DVD.   Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

  3. Doug——Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours!   Your meal and dessert look terrific.  You do seem to whip up some good meals for yourself.   Watching falling snow is one of our favorite things, brings back fond memories of when we lived in the Midwest.   Now we get super excited when it decides to snow in Texas, even if it only lasts one day.
Ah, The Waltons…loved that show….what a wonderful way to spend your time watching them.  My wife says it’s like a “Calgon take me away” time.  Remember that commercial?
We enjoyed a Community Center Thanksgiving Turkey Meal with Pumpkin Pie.  We have to give you credit for us seeking out and going to our center after reading about your wonderful experience.  Thank You!
Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving virtually with us…enjoy the rest of your evening…hopefully without any pain.
